Curious about sound vibrations and benefits for health and well-being? Stressed? Fatigued? In pain? Overwhelmed? Considering life changes? Dealing with loss? Just needing a time out or time away?
Join us for a complimentary session to meet Ruth, learn about, and experience the Rx Sound Journey vibrations of Harp, Ocean drum, Steel-tongue drum, Tuning-forks, and Tingshas. Sound, stillness, and intention create relaxation and recalibration of your natural rhythms and energies.
Because Rx Sound Journeys are offered as 90 minute sessions for individuals, for our event one volunteer will be chosen from the group to receive a focused modified 45 minute session while resting on a treatment table as they would in a session. Although focused on this individual, all present will experience and enjoy the benefits of the gentle sounds and vibrations of this sound bath journey.
This is a sitting meditation and we will have chairs available, but feel free to bring a blanket or whatever you need to be completely comfortable. Doors close 5 minutes after start time and late entry is not permitted.
About Your Practitioner
With the desire to support people in any stage of life with the transformative power of presence and sound, Ruth McEwen, MSW, Music-Thanatologist developed Rx Sound Journeys. Ruth brings her love for life and people and her professional and personal experiences with prescriptive music to this healing and wellness work.

Please sign our Consent & Liability Waiver prior to arrival. Note, we use essential oils and burn sage, palo santo and/or incense—please let us know of any sensitivities. Refrain from using any drugs or alcohol prior to the event. Video and photography during the event is not permitted without prior approval.

Appointment Cancellation Policy: For cancellations, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged or losing your deposit. If there is an extenuating circumstance please let us know.
We reserve the right to cancel classes and events due to low attendance. An electronic credit will be sent via email, or a refund will be issued as requested.
