Shield Your Space: The Protective Power of Salt

Salt has been used for centuries in various cultures for its powerful cleansing and protective abilities. Its energy represents purity and balance and regular use of it can create a positive and harmonious environment in your space. It can also be a valuable tool in energy work as it absorbs and neutralizes low lying vibrations. Here are some ways we utilize salt to protect our home and energy field.

• Before cleansing, ground yourself, call in your spirit guides, and state your intention for protection and clearing.
  
• Place bowls of salt in different areas of your home to absorb energy, by the front entrance in particular or near gaming and television systems.

• Create a salt barrier around your home or sacred space. You can simply sprinkle a line of salt outside around your property. There are a variety of salts to use such as Himalayan pink salt, sea salt, black lava salt, or red Hawaiian salt. Use whatever you feel called to ensuring that it's of purest quality. 

• Salt water can be used in a spray (1-2 tablespoons of salt dissolved in distilled water in a 4 oz spray bottle) to mist around your home or space to clear energy, especially if you're feeling emotionally exhausted, experiencing difficulty sleeping, or there are heavy energies present. • Bath soaks with a variety of salts, including Epsom salt, can unblock stagnant energy, rejuvenate, and relax your body, mind, and spirit. Taking a salt bath before bed, with the intention of releasing unwanted energies and emotions that no longer serve you, can help ensure a peaceful night ahead.
• Use a salt soap bar in your morning shower to clear away energy and for fresh beginnings.

Remember, the key to using salt for protection and clearing energy is to set your intentions and focus on the positive energy you want to invite into your space. By incorporating salt into your energy work practices, you can create a harmonious and balanced environment that supports your well-being!
