Our Crystallide Zaphir Chimes are available in Green and remind us of magical fairy chimes!

Zaphir Chimes are well-known for over 30 years for their quality, whimsical, handmade instruments in France. Each is a work of art with its vibrant colors and marble-like design. Hold the chime by its string and move it gently—you will be enchanted by its relaxing melodies. These are some of our favorite tools for relaxation, meditation, and sound healing. The 5 tunings are named in relation to the 5 seasons, and  elements.  
  • Crystalide: G A B D A G B D  (spring)
  • Sunray: G#B C#E G#E A C#  (summer)
  • Twilight: E G B C E G B C  (autumn)
  • Sufi: F A D F A G A D  (intermediary season)
  • Blue Moon: D F A B C E A#C  (winter)
Each instrument has 8 metal cords of different lengths that are tuned to create a continuous flow of harmonies. The shape of the resonance-tube is based on the 'Golden Ratio' principles of Da Vinci which optimizes sound and resonance. Thin crushed and pressed layers of long fiber celluloid board create the perfect acoustics for the warm timbre and crystalline sounds Zaphir Chimes are known for. Most of the materials used are natural, recyclable, and ecological. Although the chime has been protected by an eco-friendly varnish and paint, it is not recommended to keep outside for extended periods of time. These instruments are not recommended for children under the age of 5 years old.
