These Black Septarian nodules, also known as Dragon Stone, are formed by volcanic eruptions. The outer layer is Limestone and Aragonite and Calcite fill the cavities and cracks. Legend has it that it that it was created by dragons and they held their power within the earth! Septarian is a "concretion" stone which is protective and grounding with the ability to shield the physical, mental, and emotional bodies.
